WILD Day...

In 2004, the first Friday in March, Formerly reserved for the Excellence in Education Conference, was renamed Wo Innovations in Learning Day, in honor of the Wo Endowment, which partially funded the activities, and the Wo Learning Champions, who planned and coordinated the activities. Since then, every other year first Friday of March is recognized as WILD day and all Community Colleges' Wo Learning Champions coordinate the professional development activites for the entire day. What follows is a summary of the activities of that day for March 7th, 2008. By all accounts, it truly has become a WILD day of community sharing and professional development activities and workshops for the entire campus ohana. Here is a glimps of day's events in each campus.

This year's WILD day was on March 7th, 2008 and was coordinated by the Wo Learning Champions Generation 5. In the past some campuses had to choose a different day for this event because of scheduling conflicts, but this year all campuses were able to celebrate the day on March 7th.
